Why We're Building Lower The Noise

We built more tools to solve the problem of too many tools. Added more channels to manage our channels. Created more processes to handle our processes. Something isn't working.

As Product Managers, we're caught in this spiral. Every tool promises to make life easier, yet somehow we end up with more complexity, not less. Our days are fragmented into tiny pieces: switching between standups, translating feedback across tools, chasing updates in endless Slack threads.

The Reality of Modern Product Management

Last month, our team tracked the noise:

  • 48 meetings (just standups!)
  • An average of 228 daily Slack notifications
  • 9 essential tools checked daily (Linear, Jira, Slack, Gmail, Notion, Figma, GitHub, Notion Calendar, Drive)
  • 2.5 hours per day switching between different contexts (impossible to track fully, but we tried to measure and estimate this based on our calendar and task tracking)

Each interruption carries a cost. Every context switch leaves a trace of mental fatigue. Important decisions get buried under urgent notifications.

A Different Path Forward

We're not building another "do everything" tool. Instead, we're asking: How can we help Product Managers focus on what truly matters?

The answer isn't adding more—it's cutting through the noise. Surfacing the right information at the right time. Bringing context when you need it, silence when you don't.

Starting with Understanding

We're beginning with the core of product work: meetings and updates. Understanding how information flows, where context gets lost, and how we can make it better.

Our approach is different:

  • No more tools to manage your tools
  • No more notifications about your notifications
  • No more processes to manage your processes

Just clarity when you need it most.
